If you’re just now hearing about this thing I’m doing, here’s the deal…

Who wants to make my dreams come true?

Today I am finally “launching” (sounds like I’m shooting into space or something) my Pledge Music “campaign” (sounds like I’m running for office or something) – like I’ve been talking about for WEEKS via this blog that I’ve been writing (for the 4 or 5 of you who actually read it).\

“Launch” and “campaign;” such BIG, wordy words for what in actuality are a few key factors that are important for me …

I was all over Hollywood last night; I started out at The Roxy for a pop showcase.

I was there to support my friend Christopher Ciccone who is working with a new female vocalist – Ash Wednesday – who is on a small LA indie label. Before she performed, two different rappers opened and what I watching was unreal, it was so old and tired, my God are people still making music like this?

Then Ash Wednesday came on. …

Drum Roll Please…

Presenting the new album cover for my upcoming album, “When I Was Yours.”

I am such a cheese ball.

Yeah so my ridiculously talented friend, Daley Hake,  took that photo of me recently.  It’s actually my reflection in a puddle – how crazy is that?  I then asked my brainiac friend, Justin Burrow, to use his design powers for the cover.  My album release show will take place May 13th @ The Hotel Café – make sure to …

So this is what I’ve been up too…

This past week I met with my personal A&R “guru”, Michael Rosenblatt, at LP33 to film my first video blog situation for the web.

It was really fun bantering back and forth with Michael, except I hope I don’t look like an idiot.  While playing one of my songs, my hand totally froze up on me and I had to stop playing and take an advil.  I realized that I had been …

I’m really starting to like this girl. Jamie came by the office today so we could do some on camera stuff and while in the office she played me a couple of new songs.  As an A&R guy I couldn’t be happier – Jamie was two for two.

The first song “We Fade Away” has a strong chorus; Jamie’s vocals are huge and the hook is really catchy, not to mention there is a great bridge where she wants …

For me the first punk rock band was The Who. They had the look the attitude and they were a little scary the way they literally tore up the stage. I was lucky enough to see The Who live a few times back in the 70’s and early 80’s. I am a fan and will continue to be one, but the halftime show at this weekend’s Superbowl for me was horrible.

Yes they were a great band with groundbreaking …

Since I got home from Christmas vacation and got the news about winning the LP33 Studio Fast Track thing, I’ve been super busy.  I feel like I’ve been in pre-production mode for weeks now.  I used to work on music videos – doing wardrobe and all that – for years, so this process reminds me of that nervous excited energy that goes into a creative project.  The only thing is, with music videos, it’s a week-long process.  Building …

What do gay pirates and Jessica Alba have in common?

It’s hard to say what fans have in store for this contemporary entertainment-renaissance man. Not only does he write and perform his music, he is also a filmmaker, poet, and of coarse a campaigner for the equal treatment of gay pirates.

His latest video, A Tale of Two Dicks, explores the comical facets of sharing an apartment with people you might care for but truly can’t stand. Written and directed by Mr. Jarvis, the video makes for one gay viewing (pun intended).

For this Jersey boy turned Englishman, film making is just one avenue to release his comically creative exploits and rest assured, if you enjoyed the movie, you’re gonna love his music.
