Thank you to everyone who’s checked out my Pledge profile and helped out! It’s only been a week since we started, and already 25% of my pledge has been raised – holy crap you people are awesome!
If you’re just now hearing about this thing I’m doing, here’s the deal…
You may know him as the hard core Jack Bauer, the man who saves the world on a weekly basis on the hit show, 24.
But LP33.tv got to know him as Kiefer Sutherland. The label owner, the music lover, the all around rad individual.
We had the opportunity to sit down with legendary band DEVO to discuss their upcoming new album, the DE-evolution of society, and…
Keifer Sutherland on set of "24" during his LP33.tv interview.
We were lucky enough to have time to sit in with one of the hottest stars in the business, Kiefer Sutherland. You’ll get to see the interview soon, but check out this first-hand account from LP33.tv Head of Production, Jorge Roberto Ramirez.
It was a normal Friday morning as we pulled into the crew parking of the hugely popular 24 set. We were scheduled to interview the world famous Kiefer …
Per tradition, The Grammy Foundation hosts a number of significant community building events throughout Grammy Week. We had the honor of joining along the way, and want to share…
The thoughts below were written by very special guest author Dan, from the band Nico Vega. LP33.tv is giving away tickets to see Nico Vega during their upcoming tour with Soundtrack of Our Lives. Enter here!
When something happens on the magnitude of what has happened in Haiti it can be hard to feel truly connected to the catastrophic reality. It seems after a lifetime of exposure to violent images our generation has been numbed to tragedy. We are overwhelmed by it in all forms of media and as children we are conditioned to distance ourselves from it… when we saw a scary movie, we were comforted and reminded by our parents: “It is not real”. So when we find ourselves faced with something truly disastrous happening elsewhere it’s easy to find we’ve become detached. We have to remind ourselves that the harsh images on television are in fact, this time, not a movie! They are absolutely real and the pain and shattering loss is substantial. For the people of Haiti it’s very, very real.

To date, Paula and LP33’s TMI Scout network have recommended hundreds of artists to major label signings.
When musicians deliver raw soul with unrelenting swagger and force you tend to take notice. I took notice.
What i’m referring to is The Heavy, a four piece from the Uk. Who made quite the impression on LP33.
Tonight/Yesterday, The Heavy are performing on The Late Show with David Letterman. This couldn’t have come a better time for Letterman.
As we all know, Letterman’s recent indiscretions with a certain staff member have caused quite the fuss. And nothing takes away negative press like passion, which is exactly what The Heavy deliver.
In fact, LP33 witnessed this passion first hand just a few weeks ago when the The Heavy stopped by our offices in Santa Monica.
The video below was filmed at around 8 am on a week day. If you could deliver something like this, at that hour, i can pretty much guarantee you would be playing Letterman too. Enjoy…
LP33 recently caught up with electronic musician turned singer songwriter Fin Greenall, aka Fink, at our offices in Los Angeles.
Greenall has lead somewhat an orthodox musical career; he started out as DJ (of the electronic variety) only to later abandon the wax and become a bona fide singer/songwriter- interesting progression.
Immediately after touching down in Los Angeles Greenall and company stopped by our offices for a live performance and interview. We captured an acoustic version of “Maker” (off of 2009’s “Sort Of Revolution”) and discussed that valuable musical quality- soul. Enjoy…
